High Tech Safari February 15, 2017

Are you a member of the study association of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physical Sciences, the ‘Professor Francken’ study association of applied physics, or the study association Cover for Artificial Intelligence and Computing Science? Your membership guarantees you a place on our High Tech Safari and a chance to find out more about the Big 5 in High Tech.

 

We will take you on a tour of our companies and offer you an exclusive peek behind the scenes. You will meet high-tech professionals in R&D departments and at production lines and come face to face with the latest robots and innovative machines. 

 

You have to get up early, but it is worth it! You get a VIP treatment. A luxury coach will pick you up in Groningen at 9:00 hours. During the trip to Drachten, you will get a preview of the program of the day and you have the chance to meet fellow-students. During the safari, we will provide coffee, tea, soft drinks, snacks and a lunch. The safari ends with a buffet dinner, where representatives of the organizing companies join you to hear about your experiences during the safari. Around 20:00 hours, the coach will take you home again.

 

Besides the general program, you can also choose a special in-depth program on three high-tech topics: 3D printing, big data and robotics. When you sign up, you can indicate which workshop you would like to attend.
