ICD - Practical workshop: Cyber Security
09:30 - 16:30
Philips Drachten, Oliemolenstraat 5
Together with FME Metaalindustrie, Koninklijke Metaalunie, RoSF and Ynbusiness, Innovation Cluster Drachten organizes the second practical workshop Cyber Security: Digitization and Cyber Awareness in the factory.
"Super useful and practical. Hacked anyway, even though you know you're going to be hacked!"
Bas van de Hoek (Philips), participant in the first workshop.
Many machines exchange information with each other. Such a network offers both opportunities and threats. Opportunities because the data offer starting points to improve the production process. Threats because linked equipment is susceptible to cyber crime.
In this one-day workshop, participants get to work themselves on collecting data, while students expose how vulnerable the various systems are and what they should do to secure information and the network.
The workshop consists of three parts
- Collecting data: how can you easily collect automatic data from equipment and from the shop floor?
- Cyber security: how do you collect cyber-safe data and keep your cyber risks under control?
- 4 practical training sessions in which participants themselves get started with data collection and visualization, while being hacked and learning to obtain their data in a cyber-secure way, with:
- Industrial I / O
- PLC and
- Raspberry Pi computer.
MT members and operational technical equipment and system managers. We hereby strongly recommend participation by at least 2 people per company. Desired level of knowledge: HBO or MBO with extra IT and / or PLC experience. Maximum number of participants: 20 people.
The registration is closed
Applicants will receive a confirmation and the latest details by January 19, 2020.
